Clematis × triternata is a hybrid between C. flammula and C. viticella. Genus name comes from the Greek word klematis which is an old name applied to climbing plants. 'Rubromarginata' is a vigorous vine that typically grows to 10-12' and features masses of small, very fragrant, 4-tepaled, white flowers (1.5" wide) in a long July to September bloom.
